    • TLKP Award

    The new awards program, reinstated in 2007, will be different from the old one. First off, I will only be awarding these once a year, instead of monthly. This is due to lack of response with submission of sites. Next, there are now two different awards to be given out, instead of four. One is for Lion King themed sites only. Again, this is just one, so there will no longer be a gold and silver award for these any longer. Then, one award will be given out to any other (non Lion King) themed site. There is no more seperate awards for Disney and then misc. themed sites. The "two paws up" seal of approval will no longer be offered. Everyone who applies for an award will appear on the links area.

    In addition to this, I am also starting a "Members Choice Award" program. Unlike the TLKP Award, it will be chosen by the members of the forum! To get involved in this, please head over to The Lion King Pride Forum.
    Now for the rules.......
    • Sites are judged on many things, including design, content, uniqueness, ease of navigation, etc. No "broken" images or inactive navigation links please! Pages with any "broken" images or inactive navigation links will automatically be disqualified for the year and pushed to the list for next year.
    • All sites must be suitable for all audiences! (read: KID FRIENDLY!) Any site with unsuitable pictures and/or language will not even be considered! I don't know why I even have to post this, but you would not believe the submissions that are sent...
    • Please fill out ALL parts of the form. This helps in assisting me place your site in the links directory, even if your site does not win an award.
    • If your page is under construction, please don't submit it. I can't fairly judge on a page that is not completed! These pages too will automatically be pushed to the next year's list.
    • In order to be eligible for the Lion King site award, you must have a Lion King themed website. Sites devoted to one of the three movies, the Broadway musical, or to a specific character fit this requirement. If your site is a general Disney site, at least one entire page and/or section must be devoted to The Lion King. If these requirements are not met, your site will automatically be considered for the other site award instead.

    Just because you didn't win doesn't mean you you don't have a great site! Only two sites a year can win the award. All sites not winning an award will be reviewed again the next award period. There is no need to resubmit the entry for the award.

    I would appreciate it if ONLY the winners of this award would display the awards on their site! That is why the actual awards are personalized. :)
